Sweet and Tangy Homemade Coleslaw with Jalapenos

Nothing like Sweet & Tangy Homemade Coleslaw with Jalapenos to add some sassiness to your table. Subtle sweetness with the creaminess of mayo brings balance to everything else. Jalapenos add the zing and white balsamic vinegar adds the tang. It’s the perfect combination.

Ingredients

  • 4 cups Packaged Slaw Mix with Shredded Carrots
  • 1/2 cup Jalapenos, thinly sliced
  • 1/2 cup Mayo
  • 2 tablespoons White Balsamic Vinegar
  • 2 tablespoon White Sugar
  • Pinch of Kosher Salt, to taste
  • Pinch of Freshly Ground Black Pepper, to taste

Instructions

  • Combine the slaw mix and jalapenos into a medium-size bowl.
  • Wisk together the mayo, vinegar, sugar, salt, and pepper. Add to the slaw mixture and stir until combined.

Notes

  • This slaw has some heat to it because of the jalapenos. You can leave those out if you prefer.
